Do you want to go fishing in the highland of Iceland?

Fishingpartner Sweden arrange fishing trips on Iceland. The trips take place from the end of april until the end of September. We offer tours differing in length according to the requests of our customers. For those who want to travel around we provide guides and cars.

We offer recreation and conferences for companies and groups of personel and we also help families with travel arrangements of different kind. Except from fishing we provide sightseeing, hiking, riding and adventure arrangements. You dont need to be a large group. We help couples and individuals as well as whole groups.

NOTE that we provide fishing groups to the very exclusive fishing in Laxá in Myvatn and Varmá. On request we also might be able to provide fishing licenses in these and other very good waters at times of your own chosing. We also provide very good salmonfishing.´The famous Laxá in Kjós, Nordurá, and Langá are some of our rivers.

Fishing trip at Mount Hekla

Our "open" 7 day fishing trip in the highland of iceland.

You will stay together with 4-10 other persons in the area of Landmannahellir just notheast from mount Hekla on southern Iceland. The area is on Iceland seen as one of the most attractive for recreation and hiking. In spite of that fact it is still not very exploited. It consists of a ruff volcanic mountainterritory mixed with smaller green areas and about ten lakes with trout and char. The size of the fish is between half a pound up to around four pounds. In rare cases you can however cath fish up to over ten pounds in weight. Accomodation is in a nice mountain cottage with god comfort. Meals are provided in the form of base wares and the group have to sort out who is to do the cooking each day. There is a landlord living next by who can give help and advice if some problem should arise.

For travelling in the area there are 4x4 cars at the disposal of the group. About twenty kilometers away lies Landmannalaugar where you can relax in hot springs. There You also can find a small shop and a small café.

The trip back to Reykjavik includes a sightseeing that takes the whole day and we go to places like Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir. In the evening you get a nice meal and can after that explore the nightlife of Reykjavik.

The price for this trip is offered on request.The price includes most of what you need like food, housing, transportation and fishing licences etc.
