Tai Chi
We have started to more actively offer Tai Chi training in 2005.
Although Tai Chi is a martial art our pedagogy is not focused on that aspect. We focus on teaching Tai Chi
to ordinary people to give them some help in managing ordinary life.
Our main view of Tai Chi is that it is a good and effective method for personal development and relaxation as well as for
better harmony and balance bodily and mentally.
We use the short 37 posture form of Tai Chi according to the Yang tradition as tought by Cheng Man Ch´ing. In our view of Tai Chi we focus on the flow of movement and on reflexes and balance more than on details and using applications. Life is not perfect and niether are people. You dont need to do Tai Chi perfectly or beautifully, you just might benefit from doing it regularly or periodically. Doing the form regularly you will in time discover new things about yourself and about life. You might also want to go more deep into the form and start training it as a martial art. Tai Chi is offered as a integrated part of our work with individuals and groups and also when working with leadership training and staff support. Separate courses in Tai Chi can however be given on request. Samtalspartner has a long and varied experience concerning work with personal development, coaching and training. We do our best to help people find better balance, focus, health and wellbeing. Other important tools in our work are Gestalt therapy and Zen meditation
